Saving NORLY LALO

He goes by the code ROUNDEYE in most people's phone addressbook. Not because his eyes are round, in fact it's a bit chinky, but due to association with the alternative art venue in Malate he once managed and christened ROUNDEYE GLASS. Probably in tribute to his favorite musician John Lennon. To his friends, he is just plain Norly.

Indeed, Norly is an everyman. He's a father to 3 boys and a husband to a simple girl named Tina. They live in a very modest house in Mandaluyong where he converted the backyard to a small art space for artist of cross-platform to meet. Well, they used to live there. Until they have to move to Cavite. Norly and his family can no longer afford the rent in Mandaluyong. And maybe soon, the 3 boys would have to stop going to school as well. If only he is not bed-ridden or if only he does not have Cancer, perhaps all will be well.

Norly was diagnosed this year, on his 34th birthday, with Multiple Myeloma, a malignant tumor of the bone marrow. He is in and out of the hospital.
